Furniture Guarantee

2-Year Frame Guarantee Last Updated: June 2026

At Lofty's Furniture, we build our furniture to last. Every product purchased through our website at www.loftysfurniture.co.uk comes with a 2-Year Frame Guarantee from the date of delivery — because we stand behind what we sell.

This guarantee applies to items bought directly through our website and used in a domestic (home) environment only. Please retain your proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt, or bank statement), as this will be required for any claim.

This guarantee operates alongside our Refund Policy and does not replace it.

What Is Covered

This guarantee covers manufacturing defects in the structural frame of your furniture, including:

  • Loose joints

  • Timber breakage

  • Suspension spring and webbing breakage

  • Springs or webbing coming loose

  • Broken legs

  • Metal drawer runners

  • Handles

  • Magnet catches

  • Table extension hardware

  • Door hinges

What Is Not Covered

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Fabric, fillings, cushions, or mattresses (including sofa bed mattresses)

  • The metal mechanism on sofa beds

  • Paint, surface finishes, or decorative wooden components

  • Normal wear and tear, including dents and scratches from everyday use

  • Deliberate damage, misuse, or abuse

  • Damage caused by pets, extreme moisture, or unsanitary conditions

  • Items sold as ex-display, clearance, or final sale

  • Alterations or modifications made by the customer

  • Items used in a commercial or non-domestic environment

  • Loss of accessories such as buttons or Velcro

How to Make a Claim

Making a claim is straightforward. Simply email us at info@loftysfurniture.co.uk with the following:

  1. Your proof of purchase

  2. Clear photos of the issue

  3. A brief description of the problem and when it occurred

We aim to respond to all guarantee claims within 3 working days.

Our Repair & Resolution Process

We believe in fixing problems properly, not just quickly. Here's how we handle every valid claim:

  • A member of our team will visit your home to assess the item in person.

  • Our preference is always to repair the furniture in your home where possible, causing minimal disruption to you.

  • Where alternative materials are needed for a repair, we will always aim for the closest possible match in colour and finish.

  • In over 95% of valid claims, repairs are completed within 14 working days.

  • If a part is no longer available, we will source the closest suitable alternative.

  • If the item cannot be repaired, we will offer a replacement or like-for-like alternative where available. Where this is not possible, we will issue a credit note for the value of the item, redeemable on our website.

Important Notes

  • This guarantee is valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.

  • The guarantee has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for currency.

  • Following the care instructions provided with your product is required for the guarantee to remain valid.

  • Our assessment team will determine whether a claim falls within the scope of this guarantee. We will always communicate our findings clearly and fairly.
