The floating drawer unit held on brass mounts below the desktop — can be fitted to the left or the right, so the layout follows your room instead of forcing your room to follow it.
Above it, a single shallow drawer runs the full width of the desk, wide enough for the everyday paperwork and stationery that otherwise ends up loose on the desktop.
The ash frame underneath does the quiet structural work: tapered legs with a softened, rounded top edge, finished in a rich walnut tone that reads warm rather than heavy.
Black knob pulls and exposed brass fixings give it just enough hardware to notice, not so much that it shouts.
 
At W140 x D68 x H75cm, Adeline sits comfortably as a home office desk, a console against a hallway wall, or a dressing table with the right chair pulled up to it.
